the power of “what if?”
Our actions are motivated by what we believe. This can be positive or negative, depending on how healthy our beliefs are. Which is why it's important to challenge them.
For example, you may believe:
I'm too old to try something new
I need to go with the flow
I'll never break through that glass ceiling
I'm not really that creative
My glory days are behind me
I'll never be healthier
I'll never find love
This is just the life I'm stuck with
But what if it's NOT TRUE?
WHAT IF God is bigger than your fears?
WHAT IF rejection is protection?
WHAT IF you're the one to break the mold?
WHAT IF God's timing is better than yours?
WHAT IF hard things have been preparation?
WHAT IF you stopped accepting less than the fullness of his promise?
Asking "what if?" is a helpful exercise for every facet of our lives, and has become one of my favorite questions to ask clients who are ready to up-level their personal, professional, and/or ministry goals.
What "what if?" question do you need to ask yourself today?
For TRUTH...
