four reasons to repeat yourself
Do you ever wish you could do hard things just once? I do. Recently I had to repeat a conversation I'd had a few times already this year so I could yet-again reset a situation to what felt right.
Using your voice is not a "one-and-done" kind of thing. But it does get easier the more you do it.
Four reasons repeating yourself is worth it:
1. Your voice is a muscle.
The more you use it, the stronger it gets.
2. Truth = freedom.
Reclaiming it is worth your time and emotional equity.
3. Defense takes less energy than offense.
Sticking to your guns on a hard-won position has a higher ROI than giving up and having to start over down the road.
4. Resets are a normal part of healthy living.
Don't let shame keep you silent.
Tough conversations can be hard, and having to repeat them even harder. But STAY STRONG and exercise that voice!
God gave it to you for a reason.
For TRUTH...
